Cookies AND Cream Stout

Introducing our latest limited release, the Cookies AND Cream Stout.

A Pastry Stout, created from a dark chocolate malt base and mashed in with, as the name suggests, real cookies. An infusion of vanilla beans in the fermentation creates the gentle creamy sweetness that perfectly balances to the dark chocolate malt profile.

A neutral ale yeast is used to allow the malts to do the flavouring and a large addition of lactose (milk powder) enhances the sweet finish.

The result is a stout that’s rich and creamy, infused with vanilla and chocolate, and has lingering espresso flavours to round it out. Whilst it sounds like a sweet beer,  our brewers have found a perfect balance to ensure the stout isn’t overwhelmed by the sweet flavours.

Cookies AND Cream Stout is the perfect beer to be had either, curling up around the campfire to escape the winter chill, or a perfect finish to a hearty winter meal.
