where it all began.
Husband and wife team, Chris and Jess Carins are the founders and driving force behind Little Rivers Brewing Company. After a stint working at Burleigh Brewing in Queensland for two years, Chris and Jess returned to Tassie and spent many months researching and planning Little Rivers.
Eventually the site was selected in Scottsdale in a pristine and beautiful part of North East Tasmania. With their young son Tommy by their side, and Stephen and Tracy Love as fellow Director's, they have hit the ground running and crafted a microbrewery that is fast becoming the talk of the island.
Our brews.
We offer a selection of approachable, easy drinking premium beers, and seasonal releases. All of our beers contain no preservatives or additives, and are made from all natural ingredients.
Our speciality brews are a diverse mix, and in most cases are only available at events (in kegs), or in a handful of bottle shops sold as six packs. From the Golden Ale which is perfect for the Australian Summer, to a mid-strength ale which packs a punch and is known as the Dam Buster, you'll be sure to find your favourite brew.
Little Rivers can be found in bars, on tap, and in bottle shops throughout Tasmania and is on the lookout for venues on the big island (that's mainland AUS for those not in the know!).
